Happy 1st Birthday Rosie

My mini-me, my Mayflower, my Rosie-Rose, my Emi, my baby girl, happiest first birthday to you! You have been such a beautiful gift to our family. You have brought joy and happiness to us since the day you came into our lives. You were literally born smiling, and you are the only person I know that always wakes up with such a happy face.

You are adventurous and wanting to grow so fast. Always curious always learning. Loving and caring, funny and a teaser. You think your brother is the coolest person ever and my heart is grateful for that. I hope you grow to be best friends, because a strong family is the most important thing you'll ever have. You love to cuddle and to dance, you love to play and to scream out-loud, you love bath time and hate diaper changes, and if it was up to you, you would never wear clothes around hahaha.

Alcohol Free Mimosas

I love cocktails but I don't drink alcohol, so I have found ways to make my own version of happy hour, whenever I feel like drinking something fun. Virgin mimosas are my to go when I am craving something bubbly. You can either use Ginger Ale or Sprite but I prefer Martinelli's.

All you need is:

Orange Juice
Sparkling Cider or Ginger Ale
Ice (Optional)
Lemon and Sugar to rim the glass cup.

Get the edge of your glass (rim the glass) with the lemon and sugar ready. Mix equal parts of the juice and the sparkling cider, taste and add more of one or the other depending of your preference. Add the ice. Voila! So easy and so refreshing!

A Meaningful Easter Week

I found out about the Small Seed last year right before Easter Week and I wrote a post about it , you can read it here. But I want to write about it again because I think it is important to share things that can actually make our family lives better.

The Small Seed is an online community that shares resources for believers. Their Easter program comes ready with stories, songs, scriptures, pictures and activities for each day of the week,  and a big poster that you can print in the size you prefer or as individual pages.

Honoring our Savior and teaching our kids about the significance of this week is very important for my family. The Easter Week program that the Small Seed shares for free, is ideal to have meaningful interactions as a family, teach little kids in a fun environment and it really is so easy to put together.

The package is available for free in both English (here) and Spanish (here). Let me know if you use it in the comments here on in my Instagram! I want to know your opinion about it and if it makes a difference in your family, like it did in mine during this Easter Celebration.

Happy weekend friends,

Eliana
