Summer Blues

I love cloudy days. I especially love  cloudy days during summer. The breeze is still warm, the sun is not burning directly on my face, and there are still green trees and flowers around (not like during winter.) There is a romantic and melancholic feeling about cloudy days that I like. I don't know if I could actually explain it with words, unless you like them too, then you will understand what I am talking about.

When I look at these pictures from my extremely talented friend, Neela Uriostegui, I get these thoughts: Slow motion walk, old-classic romantic movie, and a collection of my favorite life memories with a indie song playing in the background. I know this post is getting too deep and maybe weird ha!

But in all honesty those are the thoughts and feelings that I got when she sent me the pictures. I know very well that I am not a super model, BUT I like these pictures and since this is my blog *cough-cough* I can brag about them! Seriously, that is what a good photographer does: it creates feelings through the images.

-Now, moving onto a more usual outfit post- The dress I chose for these pictures, was a perfect option to mix with the grey skies we had that day. It is a dress that I borrowed from my sister. She bought it thinking it was a dress, and it actually was a swim cover-up. Since the sewing bug runs in the family, she was able to fix it and made it into a beautiful summer maxi- dress.

Oh! By the way, these photo shoot happened because Neela needed help for a personal project, and I could not miss the change of  working with her! Seriously, you need you check out her work. You will be impressed! I went to college with her, and it is amazing to see how much she has learned and how far she has come. If you know Neela, you know she is a #girlboss and she will fly high!

I hope the rest of your week goes great!

Thank you for stopping by,
